Afternoon guys

I'm just timing up my engine and I have the duplex adjustable vernier gear set from mini spares.

It comes with a locking pin that locks the sprocket in place.

Has anyone used or suggest a compound perhaps bearing seal or locktite. That will keep the pin in. It's an interference fit but I don't like relying on just that alone
Thanks, Babs

That's not fully inserted. Just a pictorial reference. Cheers

From the instructions.

Ensure you remove peg screw and fit the camshaft lock tab to hold the peg in place.

Thank you nicklouse.

I guess in this instance I will fold up the locking tab edges on the other sides on the tab and leave the edge covering the pin down.

I have expected a threaded hole with alley key screws like the MED one but guess you pays your money.

Cheers

A non threaded pin is more accurate. And less likely to cause issues down the line.

had one of these kits on mine and the problem back then was the oil seal leaking, but not sure if they modified the seal surely someone will know, the lock tab is spot on for holding the peg
