Is there any difference between a 19/59 and 20/59 crown wheel. I'm changing from 2.9 to 3.1 and wondered if I need to change the crown wheel as well as the pinion.

There is a different part number for the 59 tooth crown wheel to suit each different ratio. I can’t imagine they would be interchangeable

They are different and not interchangable.

DAM5925 for the 2.9
DAM6327 for the 3.1

OK great thanks, I have both was just seeing if I could save swapping as the 20/59 looks slightly better condition.

crown wheels are different and will blow main bearing if you use incorrrect one, as i found out years ago! match part number on crown wheel to tooth count on the pinion
