I have a 92 mini Mayfair just coming to the end of a two and half year restoration could someone tell me what this the correct bonett badge for this car in my box of bits which came with car there is three different ones

Red and grey cross design. MINI is the cross bar of the cross.

Hi,

 

There is one problem to that theory Stuart          INSURANCE.

Way back there was a case of a basic car involved in an accident and the insurance company did not pay up as the owner had put badges and markings on the car indicating it was a top of the range sports version of that make of car.

So be weary.

Thanks for all your replies I have the correct badge but the three little plastic nibs are missing can someone recommend a non setting mastic that I could use

Think he means the pins on the back of the badge that fit into those grommets are missing ...

I would use good quality sticky foam pads, like number plate pads, that way if you’d ever need to remove it, you can use a piece of fishing wire behind it to detach it, without damaging the paint.
Just make sure it’s water and weather resistant, which the type for number plates usually is.
