Hello

In my 850 I have  Autumn Leaf  "furniture" in pretty bad shape.  The door cards damaged also, but I do want to keep them. I've made new cards from foamed PVC.

Unfortunately the covers separated from the back foil.

Is it possible to weld or glue a new foil to the cover ? Maybe I should glue the cover to the edge of the card ?

I cheated -

Don't know if it will work for you

laminate flooring , screwed over the top

otherwise it just kept coming loose

It was carpet at the bottom , it would not stay stuck

It looks like you've made a very neat job of that new board.

I've never peeled a door card like that so I wouldn't know how tough the vinyl is. But it looks like you might manage to lay a strip of foam and fix it with broad tape stuck directly to the vinyl on one side & the remaining backing on the other. You'd  then have the vinyl attached along the old joint, so you could lay on another piece of foam & tape in the same fashion. You can get 4 inch rolls of aluminium tape from Screwfix etc, but you might want to experiment with how you can stick it to your new card.

Just to add to this, if you need to recolour them then I've used this with great results: https://www.kolorbon...-leather-vinyl/

I just sent them a sample of the colour so they could match it and then sprayed it on, it even worked well to change door card colour here:

I've done two MK2 jags like this with great results.
