is the manifold square against the cylinder head face and nuts tightened ?

the LCB is offset to the tunnel to allow the exhaust to get past the remote gear housing (edit: that's a maniflow LCB)

Whats the o2 sensor for? Are you running a forced induction? Only asking as mines supercharged and the o2 sensor is higher up on the branch of the LCB that connects to the readout/ecu.

sensor is for a wideband AFR gauge - install instructions recommended fitting it 18" away from the exhaust ports

Having it on the collector means it gives an average of all 4 cylinders

If it’s higher up it may be in either the inner cylinder pipe or the outer cylinder pipe. These will often show slightly different mixtures due to the Siamese ports firing order and fuel distribution normally favouring the inner cylinders (and the inners showing richer).

I suppose there is a good reason to only sample off the leaner outer cylinders, as having them spot on and the inners a little richer is probably better than the inners spot on and outers a bit lean

I thought it was the other way around, 1&4 rich and 2&3 leaner?
