I have been using various gasket over many years but lately I have been using the cometic multi layers steel one, which is very good but very expensive. before that I was using the TAM1521 but stated burning those between cylinders.

minispares also sells a steel gasket, C-AHT189 is that any good?

what do you use?

You can generally re-use the MLS gaskets many times before they need to be replaced. I prefer to fit them with the decks being ground rather than a milled finished.

reuse it you say. I have never reused a head gasket before :-) that sounds a little bit too exciting

I run cometic head gaskets, but I haven't been brave enough to reuse one yet.
Had found some people on line who say they've reused them successfully, but the manufacturers say don't reuse them, but of course they want to sell you a new gasket.
