Does anyone know of a good filter/box to use with an HS6? I've got a cone K&N which is okay but I know they aren't great for power/breathing... I've seen a few boxes on ebay but they don't have an elbow or anything.

If someone knew of an elbow where I could use my old stock box?  or are those fat pancake K&N ones worth the surprisingly high price? I don't have a lot of room, the cone filter is about as deep as I have room for, wider is fine.

I am sure there was an elbow adaptor for hs4 box to hs6. Alternatively one could be 3d printed.

You might be able to get a HIF44 elbow to fit the HS6? If you were to use a plastic air filter case most will need lots of speed holes to allow more air to the filter

I’d think most higher power minis are running a KN cone or similar, they seem to be the go-to for a high power engine within the constraints of a mini engine bay

I fitted the Pipercross filter as I couldn't stand the noise from the K&N type. Much nicer.

This is fitted to my overbored 1098.

You can use the CAM4694 elbow from a hif44 with the stock airbox.
The bolt-holes dont line up perfectly though, so you will need to grind them a bit to get it attached to the hs6.
the hif44 elbows are getting quite rare though, so might be easier to just go for a pipercross filter.

The HIF44 elbow has a different diameter entry into the HIF44 than the HS6. The HIF44 is 44mm the HS6 is just over 40mm.
