Cover sills off. Welder said he needs 1no inner sill plus outer sills.

Now if it was me I would have both inner sills changed no matter what. I can see pitting on the better one which means it’s thinning.
But it’s up to you and what you can afford to have done.
I feel the same way as you about it.
I’ll ask them in the morning if they’re up for doing the job

It was not the purist method, it was not logical but thorough enough - I think.
The welding it’s been said by others who know more is near and to a good standard.
Car went back on the road in July 24.
Still in need of paintwork, currently tidying up engine bay/stopping minor leaks + tower bolts, rear front subframe mounts, tie bar rods
Oh it had new rear subframe with all new fittings Inc rebuilt radius arms.
Mostly surface rust come the warmer months I’ll Bilt Hamber/Deox gell to remove/prime paint.
