Would a MED Ultimate Radiator or mini spares 2 core be any better than what is have?
also has anyone made a radiator shroud to help?

And

Worked wonders for me. The hot air can only go out from under the wing. The difference in temperature of the wing before and after is substantially different

Do you have the 'Export 6-blade fan'. That will make a big difference.

Use a shroud. It improves the flow. And the MiniSpares rad. If the MED one is not aluminium then that could be ok. Not seen one.

My SW23 cammed road going 1380 runs the Radtech/MED ultimate radiator with an expansion tank, early narrow bladed plastic fan, old Unipart water pump and the 4" MED pulley plus semi dry decked. I always leave the heater valve open for flow though the matrix. It copes with ambient temperatures in the low 30° ok, on the move running around the N mark, but the gauge creeps to half way between N & H in traffic, so I switch the heater fan on for some additional cooling.

It’s normal to get a bit hotter in traffic
What temp is it getting to? Is your gauge reading accurately? Have you got a heater fitted and does it blow hot?

I have the plastic 11 blade fan fitted. I have not tried the 6 blade fan. Would it still fit with the breather canister?

Does that fit with a aftermarket radiator like a fletcher?

If it works fine, why change it? It’s easy to make it worse by putting in cheap parts or an incompatible combination of parts

85 degrees on hotter days in summer it will creep up to 90 I always have the heater valve open once it gets hotter I have the heater fan on aswell. In slow traffic it will get close to 100 in the hotter days.
I don't know what you would class as over heating because it always runs ok

That sounds perfectly normal to me. With the radiator cap on the boiling point of water is above 100C, with a 13psi cap it's nearly 120C

The cap is 1.1 bar 16psi..it does release a bit of pressure after a drive when engine is off sometimes on hotter days
