I want to try and find out the BHP of my new MG METRO 1275 i has the following spec
12G940 Ported and polished Head With standard valves And double valve springs
Piper 270 Cam
Standard MG Metreo Electric Dizzy
I AM HOPING FOR ABOUT 70 TO 80 BHP

The power of an engine depends on a lot of variables, but you 70/80 figure should not be far off the mark.. (flywheel)
Your best option is to get it on a rolling road which will give you a starting figure,

standard MG metro engines should be producing 70+ standard. So with the cam alone im guessin 75 - 80 easy.
