I want to try and find out the BHP of my new MG METRO 1275 i has the following spec

12G940 Ported and polished Head With standard valves And double valve springs

Piper 270 Cam

Standard MG Metreo Electric Dizzy

I AM HOPING FOR ABOUT 70 TO 80 BHP

Does Anybody Know

you'ed be better posting this in the main technical section, and just keep the club section for club stuff? more people will read your question there and so be more likely to get an answer

The power of an engine depends on a lot of variables, but you 70/80 figure should not be far off the mark.. (flywheel)

Your best option is to get it on a rolling road which will give you a starting figure,

standard MG metro engines should be producing 70+ standard. So with the cam alone im guessin 75 - 80 easy.
