Hi all, in the search for ideas on where to put a radio (gutted with new Bluetooth internals) and an extra few potential gauges such as Smith's clock (actual time clock) and rev counter tachometer in my dash, I have come across this fascia which fills in the space beneath the heater matrix down to the handbrake. Does anyone know what to call this, where to find it or if it's custom? I've never seen it before! It looks fab, and to my eyes would also be ideal for including cup holders, a couple of tweeter speakers, a glovebox type shelf ... Fingers crossed someone recognises this!!

Thanks!

That style centre console is quite a popular design. There’s an eBay seller that does them. https://www.ebay.co....0w&gad_source=1

You could also go for a reproduction of the factory 1100 Special console which is a bit more contoured than the plywood ones. https://absmotorspor...centre-console/

I always thought the original Centre Console as fitted by BL in 1979 to the Mini Specials looked good.

ABS make this fibreglass replica:-

It's a shame there's no cup holders in them.

Those eBay consoles are very easy to make yourself if you are at all handy and can use a jigsaw and glue vinyl onto plywood.
The sides of them are made from the same material as the battery covers. I changed them to 5mm plywood which makes them more solid.
