Hi, been searching for ages, can't seem to find an answer to this one.

Still putting back together an A+ 998 from a box of bits. I didn't take it to bits... I've rebuilt the gearbox using Guesswork kit, have bolted it back to the lump and now I'm on to the flywheel housing.

Is there a picture or guide to which size / threat type bolts to use in which hole, and if to use washers/spring washers and thread lock? All the vids, rebuild guides just show bolts being put in, but not what sizes where - and there must be a dozen or more holes...

I want to do it right first time, thanks!

First off. UNC into the box. UNF into the block.

spring washers are fine.

should not be hard to work out which are long and which are short.

Thanks, trying to work out what to order as I don't have any bolts for this. Mini spares is confusing, studs, no studs, flanged, not flanged etc.

The early boxes up to about 1984 had studs in the Gearbox Case. After that time, they went t a UNC Flanged Bolt here.
