Hello! I discovered a water infiltration on the rear of the mini. Some puddle of water accumulating at the back of the rear floor pan  where it meets the "bulkhead" of the boot.

I changed the boot seal and the rear quarter opening window seals, and yes its a much tighter fit, It feels better sealed.
Now I can tell that one of the window piano hinges doesnt compress the window against the body properly. I sprayed some water and indeed, water leaks in from it.

What's the best solution for this? I thought about shims on the piano hinges, but if there is a cleaner solution I am all ears!

Could I also bend the hinges to create a greater angle and make it close better? or just swap hinges.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I've shimmed the catches effectively. Is the edge the seal sits on  flat? It may settle down, it looks like it's the seals going round the corners holding the glass off
