Hi all,  ive been rebuilding an A+ which was in a pile of bits from PO.  Ive just got the engine back in, just about to refit all the ancilaries, wiring etc. etc.

Ive discovered in a box that this car has an electric TIM oil pressure sender, and gauge.   Hunting online ive not managed to find an install guide / wiring diagram.

Ive scrwed the big round sender unit into the block, which is right next to the coil.   Helpfully there appears to be 3 wires taped together quite close, and which seem to have the right length for the sender.   1 of the wires has a ring connector on it - which I believe attaches to the sender - and there are two other wires - a blue and a yellow both with spade connectors on.

On the coil, it looks like there are "spare" spade connectors which seem to suggest I need to plug my oil pressure sender wires into these.

Does this seem right?  2 connectors to the coil?   If, as I assume 1 is pos and 1 is neg how do I know which is which?  ...and if I get it wrong it wont blow my gauge in the dash will it?

Thanks!

Sorted.  I cribbed from a VDO make of gauge - they have loads of info, datasheets, install guides on their website, just what I needed.

....cant find a "Delete Post" button?
