Hi all,
Building my MPI back up, putting in the wiring harness. With the 3 wires going up to the interior light there is a single red wire with a spade connector on the end. Does anyone know what it's for ?

It's for the electric sunroof if you have one fitted.

I believe the feed for the electric sunroof comes from the passenger compartment fusebox, fuse B7.

If I am correct the other end of this wire will be there and a quick continuity check will confirm.

If there is no sunroof you can either connect the wire at the fusebox, to keep things tidy, and leave the fuse out or you could tape the wire back to the harness out of harms way.

Or use it for a 12v accessory feed. I have 2 12v sockets in the glovebox wired to it.
