No Its a condensor mounted on the outside of the distributor. I believe it is a ducellier. I need to know where the wire from the condensor goes . also where the wire from the other side of the distributor goes, both to the coil i think, but which terminals please?

The black block on the side of the distributor that the wire comes out of has a terminal on the underside that the condenser plugs into. Make sure it's a tight fit as I've seen them be loose and work for some time until it decides to not make proper contact.

The wire goes to the coil negative but there's probably a white wire with black stripe which comes out of the harness for it to plug into. That wire then goes the short distance to the coil.
