Sadly I'm sure London Mayor Sadiq Khan and the Brighton Green Party will be very happy to welcome this EV rally of mainly Chinese built cars rather than all those polluting old British Minis....or thinking positively maybe there will be a few classic Mini EV conversions entered on the run?
London To Brighton Electric Vehicle Rally 21st June 2025.
About Us
"Welcome to the London to Brighton Electric Vehicle Rally! This event is the perfect opportunity for electric vehicle enthusiasts to showcase their energy efficiency and compete for awards. Participants will drive from Westminster City School in London to Brighton’s Madeira Drive, with the most energy-efficient vehicle in each category—SUV, city car, and more—declared the winner.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Our after-party and awards ceremony will feature delicious food, refreshing drinks, and live music at a lovely venue. For the kids, we have an exciting electric stunt show that will keep them entertained throughout the day.
Don’t own an electric vehicle yet? No problem! Come down to Madeira Drive to explore our 2.5-mile EVillage, where you can test drive various electric vehicles from our partners like BYD and Hankook Tyres with zero obligation."
Join us for a day filled with fun, innovation, and the future of sustainable transport!"

some will have an interest in that, others won't, it's just whatever you're into I guess
I don't watch Formula-e either because I've got a scalextric set of my own if the mood takes me lol
still though it is the future, I was watching an autotrader review of the new E-aston and to be fair... I want one

A return to its roots, as a test of range & endurance
...it will need a bit of thought by some, from farther afield, to be topped up with enough charge to start.
I can't see it being much of a spectacle in Brighton though, it'd get confused with a busy school run if it wasn't a weekend.

Hi,
It doesn't say that we Classic Mini owners cannot do the trip at the same time on mass.
I would be quite happy to pay £12.50 ULEZ charge just for the laugh.
Only problem is I will be away then.
