i will using coilovers on the front of the mini. it has a removable front end.

the brackets for the coilovers are much bigger than standard brackets and foul where the brace bars mount.

who has the same as above and what have you done about brace bars???

will i have to make my own or mod my existing ones???

you could have the brace bars where i have them. they attatch to the triangle bit on the inside of the inner wing.

cool nice one. i could cut and weld the ones i have to make them like yours and weld a plate on to go through the 'triagnle' bit. do you not have any cleanrence issues with anything in the engine bay? radiator? etc?

If you do it this way, weld some reinforcing triangles to the fold in the inner wing.

so have you bent the bars outwards around the fan?

i have a mechanical fan on the inside so i wont need to do that.

also you dont have coilovers. i want to know what people have to to clear the top bracket for the coilover with the brace bar.

dont mean to sound ungrateful mate.

apologies i misread the post :S

the brace bars i have shudnt cause trouble with the coilovers!! thought the coilover brackets moved the units up and way from the wings so it shud be ok!!

yes i had to modify the left bar to get round the fan, it dont arf suck some air thru that!! more than a std fan would i rekon!!..
