Hello all, I probably now the answer but want to share my thoughts, for the last few months I have some creaking coming from the back end , definitely not myself and more audibly from the NSR.

When the suspension is under load, I can hear creaking noises coming from that area and when I climb in and out of the car the noise is also there.

My thoughts are the radius arm is on its way out, I’m fairly good with greasing and all suspension parts are a few yrs old with minimal mileage.

Is the noise I’m experiencing related to my theory and if so how much of a ball ache is replacing it?

"If... you have loud squeaking noise during suspension movement, then the knuckles are one of the first things you should check."

For what ever it's worth I agree here with Quintan;-

"If... you have loud squeaking noise during suspension movement, then the knuckles are one of the first things you should check."

If indeed this is what it is, I'd suggest that if it's worn through the cup to thoroughly check the machined socket in the arm that the base of the socket still has it's shape and hasn't been rounded out.
