OK thanks for the brilliant info again spider. Really appreciate your help. On my rear NS shock the lower mount can move side to side a few mm and makes a click sound when it does so.
Can I get bushes or just go for nice pair of new KYB shocks?

New rubbers are available, but if the shock is worn or leaking, then as Cal suggests, replace them.

There have been some issues with bearing kit spacers.
The spacers are meant to be correctly sized to give correct bearing fit when correctly torqued up.
However, I have twice had to much free-play at the wheel rim due to the spacer being too long, in one case it was 0.005” longer than the original. In both cases I fitted the original spacer and all was fine with just the necessary very small free-play at the wheel rim.

After all that the shock lower mount nut wasn't fully tightened so the shock bottom could move back and forth a few mm
