Subsequent to my discovering of my central oil pickup pipe snapping, I'm looking for a new one that doesn't foul the crank/conrod of a 1098 engine.
Anyone with a 1098 found one that has clearance?

I'm sure you'll find most will fit and clear the big ends. There is some room to move with the fixing bolts and steady. Looking at your photos, the contact has only been slight. I'm fairly sure is you lightly nipped the bolts for the oil pick up, then gave it a knock right where that last one was contacted, then do a final tighten, you should be OK.
Put some marker or plasticene on the new pipe, sit the engine on the gearbox without gaskets, turn it over a few times, be sure to thrust the crank both ways for at least one revolution of each way, then remove the engine and check it.

I had this happen, over 40 years ago, fortunately the Crank wouldn't revolve to do the Tappets.
I had an empty gearbox casing and was able to bolt the Pick-up in it and keep bending until it just missed the Layshaft in the 1100 box.

Ordered a new pipe from Minispares and will do a mock build to check clearances.

Is your gearbox a remote type or rod change?

Remote with magic wand conversion. Gear set is A+ which means I had to modify the central web to accommodate a 2 step layshaft. Gearbox works fine.
