Good afternoon all,

I've decided to change the standard stalks in my '89 mini for something with a light switch on. Number of reasons, but mostly it was my original ones the flasher switch inside the stalk was damaged and its just more user friendly to have the switch to hand vs is the middle of car.

Now I have managed to wire in all the lighting and everything works exactly as you'd expect however the washer/wiper side is something else. The MGTF had 7 cables some of which ran through a multifunctional unit and the mini has 5. One is a black which I have earthed and did not changed the outcome. I have manged to wire it up so that when I pull it back the washer pump motors activates but I cannot get the wipers to work unless I jump the power from the LGO cable coming in to either the RLG or ULG cables. So while I know everything works and I've done a full continuity test on the MGTF switches so everything has a connection I cannot figure out how to wire in the slow and less slow wipe function.

Anyone know how I might be able to achieve this functioning correctly I'd be greatly appreciative of your knowledge or expertise.
