Can anyone tell me if the minispares small bore exhaust (GEX177 or GEX106) will actually fit or will it have the issues that were reported years ago by many. If I've got to mess around to make it fit then I might as well repair an old one.

I had the GEX106 before I upgraded to the RC40.

No problem with fitment, just the manifold clamp can be a bit hit and miss as it would be better with the cast clamp.

Interestingly, I ran this exhaust for 1 year, when I took it off there was no sign of any surface rust, didn't use any VHT paint.

Now the RC40 is on 2 years, several layers of VHT paint before it was installed and it has a good layer of surface rust from engine to the gear stick area.
