On stripping down the joint in the potjoint I saw that 2 out of 6 balls had some small pit marks on them. I can just fill them with my nail does this mean the joint is trash or can you buy some new ball bearings. The ball bearings are a good fit in the cage and I cant see any wear can the joint be used again . I also have some 1100cc drive shafts can I use the potjoints on them on my 1380cc .

Pot joints are all of one type and as such, interchangeable. Any bearing supplier may be able to assist with replacement balls. If I had a spare joint, I'd use it. It saves replacing the joint later.
