Hi guys,

I'm replacing my inner and outer sills after removing the dreaded over sills. You guessed it, it's a nightmare under there.

I'm going to buy the inner and outer joint integrated panel from M machine ..... but

I've seen the 11.33.01.17 panel which has 4 flutes and advertised as mk1-3. And is much cheaper than mk4 plus.

My question is will the mk1-mk3 panel fit? My car is a 1990 shell. So I think mk4.

I'm not precious about originality if it saves me some cash.

Cheers, Babs

Should be ok but the 4 flute and 6-flute all look the same price in the Mini-Machine catalogue?

I think the larger 6 flutes/vents sills were just an attempt by BL to improve ventilation and drainage of the sills although it did not seem to make much difference to the rust problems.......and therefore it should not be an issue to fit either version to your Mini apart from if originality was important to you.

Thankyou,

I've since realised that it has had an inner sill repair panel welded in. Which is pretty solid. After all that I may just need an outer sill

The M-Machine inner/outer sill sub-assembly is great. I've used them a few times and they save hours of work as well as looking good.

Yes, the 4-flute will fit your car.
