Hi all, currently driving a daily 998 turbo running 7psi on a home modified CAM4810 head with a 266 cam.
I am building a 12g295 head to replace the current one, I just wondered what valve springs to use, do I go original double valve spring or 12G1015 as it's not a fire breathing monster? The standard valve springs on the 4810 head were always fine so I feel double springs would be a bit overkill?
Cheers

From my early experience with a supercharger, although in normal motoring mode there was enough additional torque well below 6.000 RPM, on occasions, in a dodgy situation I hit valve bounce in third.

While I agree with your feelings that double spring are not necessarily necessary, I'd fit them.,
