My name is Andy and I live in Truro Cornwall. I last owned a Mini in 1990 (a 1979 Mini 1000) and then work, family and no space took over during my working life.
Having now retired and moved here I've been able to rekindle my passion. I have a 1987 Portugese Moke which (as I sure many of you know) shares the same 2 subframes, running gear, engine, suspesnsion, braking and steering but with an open tub rather than a body. The elecrics are the same just a little bit simpler. As it isn't a Mini, correctly specifing some parts is a bit of a challenge and things have obviously been refitted at various times with whatever parts and budget were available over the last 35 years.
I look foward to helping others and learning form the many experts who know stuff I do not!
