1981 clubman estate

 

I bought a set of rubber seals from Somerford mini for the sliding rear clubman window, but I am not sure how they go.

 

I have the four seals and each is a different size, the longest seal goes on the bottom and the second longest goes on the top. For the side I currently have the long one on the rear and the smallest side seal close to the front of the car.  Is this correct?

 

Also when cutting the seals, does the side seal sit on top of the bottom/ top seals, or does it go alway to the bottom of the frame and bottom and top seal are cut? I attached two pictures to show what I mean.

 

Lastly I am wondering on the rubber seals do I have to drill a hole on the seal for it to allow water to drain out of them?
