Looking for a lighter flywheel, currently running Verto and I don’t want to go super light so looking into the is the Minispares light Verto option. I dot have a lathe that can swing the flywheel to lighten the original one myself.

I’ve also seen this on eBay https://ebay.us/m/IOVDqU
Are these a viable option, has anyone used them?

Depends on your budget and engine spec.

I spoke to MED their new Verto lightweight is currently in development. For the flywheel only option the price is not bad

I bought one of those ebay flywheels last sunday to replace mine that has the wrong ring gear.   Fitted it yesterday but not had the chance to drive it yet.  What turned up was plated in some sort of .. cadmium? the gold one.   looks really good the ring gear looks new -  very happy.

Mind you, whatever flywheel option you opt for - they all need balancing and machining -unless if your aim is to build a tumbler.
