Hi all,

I have a 1990 Studio 2 and one of the items on the health check was the exhaust rear mount and bracket was missing. I've looked across the web but cannot find a picture of how it should look so unsure what parts to get!? I figured it's a job I can do....if I had the right parts.

Underneath there is a bracket arm with an old bit of possibly a rubber part (underlined in green in the picture) and there is also a hole (circled yellow) in the subframe so I assume that had a mount bolted on it?

Anyway, if I could visually see how a bracket is meant to be mounted and the parts associated with it, I'd be good to go! Thanks in advance for the help (and links to MiniSpares if poss!).

Cheers all!

Thanks! Certainly gives me a bit more perspective. I will probably bite the bullet with the clip tail pipe mount and the cotton reel. Just wanted to see how it all looks when fitted to the subframe but so long as it holds the exhaust, we should be good.

Looks like you need:

https://www.minispar...-for-gex177-etc

and

The "cotton reel" mount is the bit on your subframe you've highlighted  (broken in your case)

Looks like you may have had a replacement subframe at some point with the later hanger type

Understood, thanks! That makes sense. It does look like it was converted (the groove out of the subframe suggests that too perhaps) and then restored. Anyway, I'll get those bits I think and give it a go! Thanks. :)
