Just replaced left side outer CV just over a week ago and I think its clicking again already, the last one also started after a few weeks, they're the transtec ones from minispares, greased properly, new boots and torqued correctly.

What can cause this to happen so soon? The hubs and everything are new, converted to discs just a few months ago.

I'd suggest first checking the one you have removed to see if it was that which was clicking.

They click when the cage wears, then it tends to jam and when it releases, that's the click you hear.

I'm just wondering of in fact it might be the head(s) of some (all?) of the wheel studs contacting the brake caliper ?

Cooper S Discs? flanges fully square on the discs? seem more than one warped flange recently.

Also, when fitting the cvs, what were the splines on the shafts like? straight, tight on the cv splines or baggy?
