Ok, file size it ok, it’s just the angle and closeness of the photo, it doesn’t show where the break is, hence I’m not sure what I’m looking at exactly ?

Kick back can break the end of a starter motor. Excessive high compression and too much ignition advance when cranking can cause that, as can using lower octane fuel in a high compression engine.

Agree. Nothing has changed in quite a few years, I have only used 99 and ignition advance has stayed the same

Have you checked the advance curve down to cranking speeds? The advance mechanism wears and causes increased advance at cranking speeds.
