I know this has probably been covered somewhere before But I'm looking at replacing my 12x5 ultralites with set a of 10x6 15et minilites on my 89 city, will they fit without having to cut the wings? I am aware I need to change the Brakes first.

I had A SPI 15 years which I'm pretty sure I put 10x6 minilities on with the brake conversion Hi-Lo's and Spax adjustable dampers and Kept the original arches and I didn't have to modify the wings.

cheers

Will

I can't see you getting away without cutting the wings and front panel if you want 10x6 minilites. Mine aren't even the deep offset version, which would obviously be worse.

Thanks for the pics. looks like I may have to go with 10X5 instead, I just really thought I had 10x6 on my Spi pictured below but it was a long time ago

I have the 6 x10 ET15 'deep dish' Japanese export Minilites with W&P Arch/ S Discs and wing/arch cut at front edge towards the end of the bumper for clearance on full lock.

You should be OK if you fit Hi-Lo suspension, raise the ride height about 2 cm and re-shape the lip at the front of the front wings a bit.
