Hello I’m trying to wire a cigarette lighter into my mini as a basic start to wiring, I have figured out how to wire it all up but need to know the location of terminal 4 on my 2 fuse fuse box. For reference it is a 1974 mini 1000. (Any advice on wiring up the cigarette lighter is welcome as well as I’m new to wiring) images of the fuse box below

Something else I should add is that my fuse box mounted on the front Right wheel arch so wires going to the right are in the direction of the firewall

If you look carefully you'll find the terminal numbers written on the fuse box.
It's the one with 6 terminals and the green wires going to them.

You want it on the terminals to the left. The bottom ones are always on, the top ones are switched with the ignition. Most likely you'll want to use the top left set of terminals (where the green wires are).

Another thing I could use some guidance on is finding wires for the cigarette lighter, it already has a wire for the bulb in but I do not intend on hooking that up I will post a picture of it below but any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Here it is you can see the red wires for the bulb and the ground will be simple enough to get but I have no idea what each connector is for the fuse box and the main live plug which is the prong thing on the end of it (sorry it’s a video I couldn’t upload a photo for some reason)

Personally I would not connect a cig lighter to the fusebox.I would run a 15 amp fused wire from the battery post on the solenoid directly to the lighter.Steve.
PS be careful as you can set your car on fire with wiring faults.

Yea I am trying be as careful as possible, I’ve looked into that but I believe if I connect it to the right place it should go through the fuse anyway also I looked closely on the fuse box and found that terminal 4 was the one with green wire going into it. If you know what wires I need I will look into fitting another fuse in though, thanks

If I added a fuse into the wire would I still connect it to a fused terminal or would I connect it to a infused terminal
