Looking to buy a mini and have found one (quite rare in my new country) that is about 6 hours away. After being stung with a previous mini that had over sills, I'm a bit cautious about buying a new one with the same problem.
The mini in question has been treated for rust protection underneath, but the photo that has been sent it's quite hard (to my untrained eye) to tell if there are oversills or not. Can anyone tell from the photo provided?

Another Case Of Oversills?

One of the sill flutes looks like it maybe have been pushed in, the other one I can’t see that clearly.
I would say they are not oversills, but not 100% sure on that to be honest!
Can you ask for more photos?

Looks like the original sill to me with the jacking point as per factory.
The A panel area with that arch hanging out looks a bit interesting.
The door step area gives a good indication as to what happening inside the sill as it`s the condensation that rots then out, a bit like the tops of the doors rotting before the bottoms.
If the spot weld line at the bottom edge of the sill is nice and flat with no bumps in between welds that`s a good sign as well.

Thanks for the responses! Yeah the arch hanging off the side is a bit of a concern but I think thats factored into the price. The underseal on the bottom seems very common here in Norway but something I can address.
