Hello from The Highlands!

After being SORNd during "The Pandemic" and then a prolonged stay in the garage for welding a new floor pan, we're back on the road at last.  We were in a couple of online mini forums (fora?) but they seem to have succumbed to the curse of FB.  Am I old-fashioned in that I don't like farcebook for this sort of thing?  The ability to search for the answer to a question that I'm absolutely certain that someone has asked and been answered many times before seems invaluable.

Looking forward to getting back into mini-ing!

I also hate facebook for taking over all the car forum stuff (and just generally being a complete waste of life time)

search on here is a bit useless, better off using google with the format "site: www.theminiforum.co.uk/ search term"  (replacing underlined bit with what you're looking for)

We have built up a fantastic library over the years, but it doesn't mean we'll shush anyone for talking. The conversations are as important, I've learned loads off TMF that I'd have never known I needed to know without others stirring the pudding stick of Mini wisdom.

Well, the first thing I've learnt here is that I need to upload a file to display a picture, I can't just copy-and-paste it into the text.  First post duly edited.
