It looks like an oil prime plug to me, due to proximity, but I thought I read that 1275 blocks don't have oil prime plugs. It seems too high to be a coolant drain plug. And if it is an oil prime plug do I fill it with oil? I just want to be sure before I go squirting dinosaur juice in it! Thanks.

Originally fitted with a brass tap that would disintegrate the instant you needed to drain the block.
