We could not get the needles out of the carbs when trying to check & see what’s in there, is it common for them to get stuck?

The needles can be quite tight to get out(the screw that holds it in) once out the graph will make sense when knowing what needles you have

I would have thought that twin HS2's would struggle with that engine spec, especially if you want to use high revs to keep it on that cam.
You really need it on a rolling road to get it set up correctly.

If the tuner knew what they were doing they'd be able to sort it out.
I wouldn't trust what they've said at all.

Thank you both. Are there any good rolling road or tuning centres near West London or Surrey?
I have used CCK in uckfield a few times. I have twin SUs and waiting for ACs tuning day for twins. There's a place in Crawley raceltd.com who work on classic cars and have a rolling road
