Dear forummers,

I am currently on holiday in england with my wife and the mini (mayfair 1000 '90).
During our trip to Alfriston, just pas Eastbourne, the exhaust manifold was not as strong as your roads... and broke.I'm in desperate need of a new one, since this one is unrepairable. So does someone in the area has one (within a 1 hour drive, preferable to the west of us, or does anyone know a shop nearby that most likely has one and is open tomorrow?

Your help would be greatly apreciated!!!

Kind regards,

Tom

Might be worth trying to contact someone at the Eastbourne & District Mini Club if they still exist:-

https://www.edmc.co.uk/

or Mini Club Sussex:-

Can you pick the manifold you need from here: https://www.minispares.com/ and I'll pick it up tomorrow and bring it down to you.

Sorry I do not know; not a mechanical Mini bod just an enthusiast. The link you sent will not cover it and you probably need a full Manifold. If it does drive and blowing limp back home or hopefully you have a recovery service.

I wish you well

You could consider driving to Moss Europe. 2h from Alfriston (less if you don't "avoid motorways"). But I'd give them a ring first to check they have the part you need. Where has it broken? If you post a picture people might be able to suggest a temporary ghetto fix.

possibly worth reaching out to MiniJosh92 to see if he's got one.  he's based in Ashford, Kent, which isn't too far

I know, but it's the cheapest & nearest.

I can't make out the number clearly, but it looks to be A Series & HS4 at least.

12G3279 was all small bore

12G3729 was 1275GT
