[Quinlan minor]

For the last couple of weeks I have been unable to upload images, in the way I have done, many times, before.

After the attempt to post, I get "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community.", in a pink box, above the post.

Previously, it's been the clue to alert me that my TMF+ subscription needs to be renewed, but not this time.

Clues, anyone?

what is the file type?

 

Jpeg + bmp should be fine, webp can be troublesome on some sites, etc

 

if its not Jpeg or Bmp, open it in ms paint and save as one of those 2, try again

 

imgbb is a good alternative, if nothing else just to see if the same error comes up

Tried it, sadly with the same result.

yeah sounds like it might be the file type, I would try saving as more common format or using an online 'convert to jpeg' or something

Sorry, Stuart, I should've said before, they are jpeg files.

All of my photos are.

I haven't changed anything in my method or in my settings.

It used to be straightforward, but no longer, sadly.
