I was looking at the Mini Spares website and say they have quite a selection of replacement rubber suspension cones - https://www.minispar...brakes/30/3014/

The red spot ones seem a good fit but so do the Evo cones. Has anyone on here tried both of them?

What did you think?

I did a search but couldn't find anything.

I have evo rubber cones and bilstein shocks. I'm happy with it but don't really have a recent point of reference to compare with. Oh, and hilos.

I have red dot cones and spax adjustables, and hi lo’s definitely no issues in the handling department

Wasn't there a thing about red spots on the front and standard on the back?

I reckon fitting the larger diameter flat platform hilos has a big effect on how a spring performs too. There seems to be only one option for one with a shape like the original ones. https://minisport.co...=44572152299830

I just fitted the Evo cones with Hi-Lo's all round on my 1964 rally 'S' together with new Spax on the front and old but still good Spax on the back.

It is great.

Most of the mini businesses here in Australia get their own ones made up with the rounded profile. I haven't seen any of the UK suppliers doing the same.

For road use, I wouldn't go any stiffer than Evo cones.
