Hello everyone, thanks for letting me join the Forum. I recently aquired a 1984 Mini and am facing my first challenge - replacing the speedo cable! Does anyone have first hand experience of removing the nacelle. It's a left hand offset 3 dial instrumnent cluster. The Haynes Manual is scant on detail! Thanks in advance!

Mine is a 1989 with a three clock set.The way I do it is pull the plastic off from the prongs holding it to the clocks. It is best to remove the column cowl. There are then two screws at the top and two at the bottom sides to release the clocks.
Yours may be different so proceed carefully.Steve..

Thanks for the insight! I located the four bolts and successfully replaced the Speedo cable.
