I used the tailpipe adapter for a while, then when I had the exhaust off I had a bung welded into the end of the exhaust manifold.

When I have the gauge removed (as during the last 12 months) there’s a blanking grub screw to cover the hole when the sensor is removed

I can understand keeping the gauge installed all the time on a turbo or high strung engine, but it can get a bit distracting for me when it’s in the car all the time!
