Just a quick question before I start
Can both pot joints come out while engine is still on subframe ( looks a bit tight on the near side )
Only done them while engine was out

IIRC only if you separate them if you want to remove them from the car completely.

 

Hole in subframe not big enough to pass the “pot” through.

With the engine fitted, you can remove both joints as an assembly.
