Evening. Does anyone know the thread/ bolt size required to hold this cable bracket to the clutch housing please. Circled in red. I've used a cheapo Amazon bolt measure device and it's come up with 5/16 20. Does that sound right, and what length would it be? Thanks, Daz.

If it's the one that goes into the flywheel housing it'll be 5/16unc x 1.0625"

Thanks Mr Bounce. Are they the ones that hold the wok on? Would they be too long for these two holes in the side of the casing? Daz

I've looked into this further, and I think the thread on the 5/16 UNC 1.0625 is 18 TPI. The bolt I require has 20. It's not the ones that hold the wok on, it's for the two threaded holes that are on the front edge of the casing. It's to attach a bracket that holds the main battery wire as it works it's way to the starter. The engineer at work lent me his full imperial bolts tray to find one that fits. I eventually found the correct bolt/thread size but it's too long and the thread doesn't go right up to the head so I can't shorten it. Daz.
