I mainly view TMF in the default view when logging in on my phone (not sure what it's called but the other option is to switch to 'Full Version' via the pill button at the very bottom of the page) as it's easier to see the latest content...anyways....I view it in the DuckDuckGo web browser that also has a built in VPN that just needs to be enabled and that also allows me to view posted images.

Just for anyone wanting to view content on their mobile 🙂

Google chrome VPN option:

https://chromewebsto...klcgno?hl=en-GB

I tested it set to Amsterdam, works fine if a little slower while turned on.  switch back off for normal use

it does try to persuade to pay money but you can skip it easy enough if you're paying attention.  or click back again if you weren't

once installed, choose location by clicking where it says 'optimal location' and then turn it on with the big power button.  power button again later to turn off

That would be a real shame. I use the Instasize app. It reduces the quality/size of the image so this site will accept them. Daz.

Same. Forums have been on a huge decline over the past decade and this has put a nail in the coffin for me as I mainly use FB, IG and youtube for my content now.

Worth noting that forum photos can be viewed if the forum website is accessed using the Tor browser.

There is a better Chrome extension that uses duckduckgo as a proxy. Can't test it as I am outside of the UK, but should work: https://chromewebsto...akifemick?pli=1

Duckduckgo is great on Android (ad free YouTube). I believe there are Mac & Windows versions, but not Linux  :(.

There's been a couple of things I've needed that have only been available as Android (or Iphone) apps lately. I have Android on a Ras pi that works pretty well as a desktop 'puter, as long as I don't need to reboot it in a hurry.

One thing in TMF's favour - the topics will always be where you found them last time, as long as you can find the forum.

I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to synch content on imgBB between a laptop and my phone so that i can post photos here (i find using TMF on a phone unenjoyable),.. has anyone managed this? - or is it something that just isn't possible?

** Never mind. I suppose I can just use ImgBB in-browser, and transfer images across that way, then use them to post on the forum.
