I have just received an email from GBAuthorityVEDCompliance@road-authorityhdat.org, stating that my vehicle tax is expiring as per text below.

 

This is a scam 

Dear Keeper,

You are receiving this notice because our records indicate that your vehicle is being used on public roads without valid tax:

.Tax Lapsed: 20 November 2025

To avoid enforcement action, you must regularise your vehicle's tax status within 7 days of this notice.

Had one today too.  Badly written, easily spotted it was a scam.

Tax generally expires at the end of a calendar month.
