Thanks for this. I've had 2 of these. Still got the engine and gearbox from the second one as it rotted away. They were a fun little car. Rare and expensive now. I would have another if I could find a good one.

I do wish they'd stop blaming 4 speed boxes for noisy motorway cruising. It's not the number of gears, it's the final drive ratio that matters.... the MG Metty's was too high for comfort though
