Pre Verto To Much Free Play

hi thanks for the reply found the problem as above i replaced everything every part and bolt inc flywheel bar 1 part . the plunger that looked new as did the old clutch but i replaced it didn't know how old it was 

now the problem was the plunger one side is a round whole the other it slightly oval this was the way i took it apart 

swapped to the round whole and now total spot on one to remember in the future

hi i have just rebuilt my A+ with a pre verto clutch ex metro 1275 all new parts but the problem i have is there is miles to much free play. by the time the arm has taken it up the slave cylinder is at its maximum travel

engine is back in so before i pull it apart has anyone got any ideas, i dont want to use a longer rod or bend the arm as would like it right

The slave could need bleeding. You could unbolt it to lift the bleed screw end & get gravity working for you, but take care not to eject the piston - you could tie the pushrod to the mounting holes.

As it “Verto” is self adjusting. It sounds like you have fitted something incorrectly.

When you say all new part, what have you renewed?
