how many folk are going to IMM 2026? me and my dad are going to go. will be the first major mini event we have been too. taking his mini as min is faaaaar from being done

Flights from £92 return if you don't want wifi, pay by credit card and you're protected from the Poles being as crooked as the English bloke who did a runner with the money from IMM '25.

i know the bloke who ripped loads of people off last year was / is a total @@@@ and people lost travel costs that could not be reclaimed but this is the only year this has happened in all the time the imm is running i hope the reputation it had as an event can be restored. as poolguy stated use credit card for extra payment protection

I will be there also, I'm from the Netherlands. First I go to eastern Poland to visit my family in law, after that I have a 5 hour drive to the IMM site. All with the classic Mini😀

yeah, still a bit nervous about what happened last year, but me and my old man are taking our time and traveling over 3 days from Glasgow and same on the way back. worst case scenario i have in-laws in Germany that we could bunk up with.

Got tickets.
Taking 7 days to get there, couple of nights in Prague, 3 or 4 nights in Poland before heading to IMM. Taking 5 days to get home.
I have heard of Leszno, where IMM is based, through being a Speedway fan. Any Poles on here to see if there's a Speedway meeting around IMM dates?

IMM is getting closer, tommorow I'm heading already to Poland. It was tight, 4 weeks ago I heard a conrod bearing fail due a failed oil pump so pulled the engine and replaced all main and conrod bearings and fitted a new crankshaft! Now it's OK. More people over here are going earlier to Poland?

Prepping for Poland starts this weekend.
Got a list of jobs to do on Inno...main one being sorting out the speakers to 'dull down' the 'box and drops.
A 15 day trip is planned, the sh*te the Mrs is planning to take I'll need a roof rack and trailer!!

So I stranded 300 miles from home, with a big boom! Oil was coming out of the gearbox and all over the place on the autobahn. Luckely I managed to put the engine off instandly to reduce damage to the new crank and bearings.100 miles before the boom the Mini had problems with rolling back, something was stopping it for going backwards. I think the diff or a gearbox bearing is failed!
Mini was resqued by the German ADAC and they will bring it back home. Made it home by train, and took my Bmw to continue the journey to Poland! I took a spare gearbox with me, Minispares will supply me a recondioned one at the IMM.
So no IMM with my Mini for me ☹️

Was fantastic to chat with the mini peeps from besr Manchester, that we bumped into in Belgium today, your minis looked amazing. Hope your onward journey to Poland was/ is a good one.

Brilliant event, well organised. I hope this somewhat restored our faith in the IMM, after the 2025 debacle. Whether any future UK events will be the same, only time will tell, I guess.

The organisers and volunteers for IMM 2026 deserve a massive pat on the back. Fantastic.

gearbox main bearing failed differential also probably has damaged teeth. Had the same thing happen to me on an IMM at Achen in Germany, but on the way home so luckily made the imm. it locked up in Achen centre and would only move in reverse.
